Know what the trade costs before you take it.
NockTrade is a trading terminal for the perpetual markets on Lighter — stocks, indices, commodities, FX and crypto in one book. Every order is priced out to the basis point — venue fee, our fee, funding, and the exact price that liquidates you — before the button will let you press it.
From sats to the S&P, one margin balance.
We are the screen, not the exchange.
Your wallet holds the collateral
USDC sits in Lighter's contracts under your own account index. NockTrade never takes custody and cannot transfer or withdraw your margin — those need your Ethereum key, which stays in your wallet.
One account, every market
Bitcoin, Nvidia, gold, oil and the S&P settle into the same Lighter account. One deposit backs every position — you are not funding five venues to trade five things.
NockTrade builds the order and charges for it
One approval signature sets a ceiling on what we may charge. We attach our account index to your orders and collect within that ceiling. Revoke it by re-signing with the fee set to zero.
Two basis points,
and we say so upfront.
On a $20,000 market order that is $4.00. Lighter charges retail nothing, so this is the whole cost of the trade. It appears in the ticket before you can press anything, and again on every fill in your blotter.
Resting limit orders cost nothing. We would rather you post than cross, and a fee schedule should say that out loud instead of burying it in a docs page nobody opens.
The ceiling you approve is 2.0 bps taker and 0.0 bps maker. We cannot charge above it without asking you to sign again. Funding is paid between traders, never to us.
Built for people who trade more than once a week.
Depth you can read
A live cumulative order book with the spread in basis points, and one click from any level straight into a limit price.
Real candles, live mark
Venue candles with real wicks on five timeframes, the mark price drawn as a live level, and volume that is actual traded volume.
An itemised ticket
Notional, margin, both fees, estimated funding and the liquidation price — recalculated on every keystroke, shown before you can submit.
Keys that stay yours
Orders are signed in your browser. Your trading key lives encrypted on your device and never touches our servers — there is nothing of yours for us to lose.
